Is all publicity good publicity? Hopewell Bay made county-wide headlines after the local police department announced that they’re opening an investigation into the mysterious case of rare and exotic fish disappearing at the local aquarium, one by one.

“Since this is an open investigation, I can’t tell you much, but certain aspects of this case have got our most seasoned agents scratching their heads”, a police officer, who wished to remain unnamed, revealed to the Boulton Bugle.

“These fish don’t have a significant monetary value, so I have no idea why someone would steal them."

The decorated marine biologist who owns the aquarium reported no evidence of forced entry despite the extensive safety measures in place at the aquarium. “These fish don’t have a significant monetary value, so I have no idea why someone would steal them. We all know that fish can’t just up and leave. But, why would anyone want to steal FISH?”, the shocked scientist said during an interview.

Adding to the mystery, witnesses living close to the aquarium have reported suspicious nocturnal movements outside the venue. What’s more, neighbors have also noticed a strong fishy smell wafting from…the Beaumont Hall!
